Proficiency Testing Australia (PTA) is pleased to announce that the Rotary Gas Flowmeter Proficiency Testing Program is progressing successfully, which was launched in early 2017. Four laboratories from Australia and New Zealand already completed their testings. It is estimated that this program will be completed by the end of November 2017.

PTA has scheduled the Pathogens in Food (Round 36) proficiency testing program in September 2017.  This is an important proficiency testing program for food safety which includes the testing for Listeria.

PTA recently attended and presented a paper titled “Monitoring performance in proficiency testing” at the 5th China PT Forum held in Beijing, China on 20-22 September 2016.  The forum covered many aspects of proficiency testing and was attended by more than 450 delegates.
